During a person’s moon cycle, it is so important to support your body by consuming magnesium.
Cacao is packed full of magnesium and is a great superfood to eat before and during one’s moon cycle. 🍫
By bringing magnesium into the body, we can reduce cramps, fatigue, and other PMS symptoms.
These raw cacao “cookies” are refined sugar free, packed full of healthy fats and protein, and will still satisfy your sweet tooth! They’re quick and easy to make, and one batch can last you for several days.
🍫 @cbdsuperfood Moon Cycle Raw Cacao Cookies Recipe 🍫
- 1.5 c almond flour
- 1/2 c unsalted peanut butter
- 1/4 c cacao
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp @cbdsuperfood dark chocolate coconut oil
- 2 tbsp regular coconut oil
- 1.5 tbsp coconut nectar (or honey/maple syrup)
- 1/2 c cacao nibs
Blend all ingredients (except for the cacao nibs) in a food processor until a smooth dough forms. Add the cacao nibs, and pulse a few times to evenly distribute throughout the dough. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, roll the dough into balls and press down to form a cookie shape. Place in the fridge for one hour, then enjoy! Store remaining cookies in the fridge or freezer.
