If you’ve been following @cbdsuperfood, you’ve probably noticed how much we love cooking with cacao! It’s a superfood in its own right — full of antioxidants, magnesium, and calcium.
We usually incorporate cacao into our sweet recipes, but today we’re shaking things up with a vegan mole sauce!

- 1 avocado
- 2 tbsp. CBD Chocolate Coconut Oil
- 1 tbsp. Cacao powder
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 3 tsp. Chili powder
- 3 tsp. Cinnamon
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 tbsp. Sriracha
- salt to taste
- 1 package of @eathempeh Salt and Pepper Steak Hempeh
- 1 can black beans
- slaw mix
Combine all ingredients for mole sauce in a food processor/blender until smooth. Slice hempeh and grill slices until sides are browned. Chop into smaller pieces. Assemble tortillas with cabbage mix, black beans and hempeh. Top with mole sauce and enjoy!
